According to dementia expert at the University College London, Professor John Hardy, drug trials are currently going on. “It is the first time that a medication has been shown to work on the underlying disease process itself rather than the symptoms..” This drug (with high optimism) will prove to be a better treatment for Alzheimer’s disease by slowing or stopping its progression.
